i’m so glad you’re here.
i’m jenai auman.
I am a Filipina American writer, artist, & storyteller living in Houston, TX with my husband and two boys. Drawing from my years of church ministry experience, education, and trauma-related training, I write on healing, hope, and the way forward for those who have experienced spiritual abuse and religious trauma. My work has been featured on Christianity Today’s Better Samaritan Blog, She Reads Truth, and The Fallow House. My people are those who feel “othered” and unwelcome in traditional Christian spaces. As a trauma recovery-focused spiritual director/companion, I also serve as a story-holder & space-maker.
My first trade book publishes with Baker Books in summer 2024. To connect and engage, you can find me on Instagram or Substack.
I’m glad you’re here. I’m with you and for you.
